Ahuroa School became a renown leader in the implementation and use of 1:1 mobile technology to support learning in the classroom, especially in the core areas of reading, writing and maths.  We continually strive, on a daily basis, to be innovative and forward thinking in the way in which students use technology to support their learning; thus creating an engaging, self dependant and learning rich environment where all students’ have access to the knowledge they need, far wider in scale and depth than what can be provided within the four walls of a classroom.  

 

Students are also provided with the the essentail digital skills they will need to function successfully in the world in which they are growing up in, such as how to be "safe" online, an awareness of their online identitiy, coding, using online file storage and website creation.
